Problem solving and decision making requires a great deal of flexibility. Defining the problem or decision to be made is generally the first step that is followed by gathering information, exploring alternatives, implementing the solution or decision, and then being able to adapt and adjust as necessary. Guidelines for thinking creatively, understanding the process and living with the decision and continuing to move through new issues that may arise will be discussed.
